Non-Executive Director

The Profile

We are seeking a non-executive Director who has recent and relevant experience, at executive or main board level, with a particular emphasis on B2B commercial strategies, including pricing, sales organisation and management, omni-channel marketing and customer service. It is in these areas where we are seeking particular challenge and insight from them.

Aside from this the successful candidate will also have all of the legal and statutory responsibilities of a company director and will be expected to contribute across all areas of board discussion and decision.

We are a low-ego organisation and seek someone to add to the team who shares similar values.  Whilst we seek to make good financial returns in the business we also, as a private company, recognise that we have wider, non-financial, obligations to our staff, customers, business partners and communities. We can afford to take a longer-term view – and do so – whilst striving to ensure we have a culture of high performance and high standards. 

Compensation

We would anticipate attendance at all board events (6-8 per year) and a further 5-10 days per year of personal involvement in the business in a coaching and mentoring capacity. We will refund expenses in line with company policy and pay a fee (monthly via payroll) of £20k per year.
