At Horizon we take the performance of our team extremely seriously - after all, the outstanding performance of all team members is what sets us apart from our competitors. In order to ensure that we support you in your development journey, we have various methods of performance review in place including informal one-to-one meetings, and twice-yearly formal performance reviews. All such meetings provide you with an opportunity to explore areas for performance development, giving you and your manager the chance to discuss all feedback, both positive and constructive. The process also ensures that you have regular opportunities to talk to your manager about any longer term career development goals you may have, enabling the company to support you with these where possible.
Individual induction plans are designed for every employee at Horizon. The programme includes spending time with different departments, allowing you to integrate with the wider team and gain a better understanding of the company and its values.
All new starters will undertake IPAF training courses as part of their induction. The Horizon Training Camp offers development sessions on areas identified by the team as particularly relevant to the company and environment e.g. Effective Communication, Managing Your Time.
In order to nurture Horizon's core values throughout the company, each individual is reviewed against the Horizon values, competencies of their role and their performance against assigned objectives. This ensures that Horizon can continue to provide outstanding service in the powered access industry.
